Community Robotics Lab Network

Community Robotics Lab Network

The Community Robotics Lab Network brings robotics education and innovation opportunities to underserved communities. By establishing accessible labs with equipment, programs, and support, we’re creating pathways for people to explore and excel in robotics.

Project Vision

Each community robotics lab provides:

  • Access to robotics equipment and tools
  • Structured educational programs
  • Mentorship and support
  • Space for projects and collaboration
  • Connections to broader robotics community

Implementation

We’re working with community partners to establish labs in areas where access to robotics resources is limited. Each lab is designed to be sustainable and community-driven, with local leadership and support.

Impact Goals

Through the network, we aim to:

  • Increase access to robotics education
  • Create pathways to robotics careers
  • Support community innovation and problem-solving
  • Build sustainable community resources

Getting Involved

We’re looking for:

  • Community organizations interested in hosting labs
  • Volunteers and mentors
  • Equipment and funding partners
  • Educational institutions for partnerships

The Problem

Access to robotics education and resources is limited, especially in underserved communities. Many students and aspiring innovators lack access to equipment, space, and guidance needed to explore robotics.

Our Approach

Creating a network of community robotics labs in underserved areas, providing access to equipment, structured programs, and mentorship. Each lab serves as a hub for robotics education, innovation, and community engagement.

Impact Goals

  • Establish 5 community robotics labs in underserved areas
  • Serve 500+ students and community members annually
  • Create pathways to robotics careers and education
  • Build sustainable community resources

Partners Needed

We're looking for partners to help make this project a reality. If you or your organization can contribute in any of these areas, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Community centers and organizations
  • Educational institutions
  • Robotics equipment manufacturers and donors
  • Volunteers and mentors
  • Funding partners
